Human Brain and Memory Process.

From memory tips and tricks comes a few statements on the human brain and memory process.
To date, scientists are unable to design computers that can compete with the human brain. But, it is promising in the next two or three decades that scientists may be able to devise advanced computers with the help of nanotechnology, cybernetics and biotech resources.
Human Brain Structure and Memory System
Our thought, senses, memory and actions all influence distinct sets of nerve cells and chemicals within our brain. The hippocampus, the amygdale and close areas of temporal lobe are associated to the cortex with the help of complex nerve cells. This actually forms the fundamental structure of our memory system.
Neurotransmitters are chemicals acting at synapses which send messages to other nerve cells.
With repetition the processes become more efficient. This is what allows long term memory.
Research on Human Brain and Memory
Scientists are not in agreement as to how these things really work. All make various assumptions.
So, for scientists to do what they ultimately want to do in making computers more like us, are we destined to become redundant or merely sit at our computers all day, which many do already, not knowing or seeking any other way.
Speculation, of course, makes all possible, but with the human brain I think our good Lord may have a few tricks up his sleeve.
Let's hope this proves right and it will not just be a land for the cyber smart, acting as henchmen for our superior computers.
