Feed your body: feed your brain.

Brought to you from Carol Dombrow in Canada.com who gives advice for children eating a nutritious breakfast so they can stay alert in class. They then have improved memory, problem-solving skills, verbal skills and are more creative.
Undernourished children have trouble focusing on tasks at hand, have lower self-esteem and absenteeism is high.
Recommendations for breakfast are cereal or a whole grain muffin, a piece of fruit or glass of juice and a glass of milk or yogurt.
Another good breakfast is whole grain toast, a poached egg and an orange.
Make it easy for the kids to help themselves to save you time in the morning.
