Books to read
April 16th 2007 06:13
There is some variety here, for those who like to know what the up-to-date lists are like.
Irony and Introspection by Professor William H. Pritchard on the brilliance of Robert Lowell. This should be very interesting reading.
The Boy Who Cried Freebird by Mitch Myers. A collection of essays, fiction, fantasy, and truths finally told, hit bookstores last week.
Desperate Journey by Jim Murphy, apparently one gets so hooked on it, it can't be put down.
Murder in Samarkand by Craig Murray, human rights activist.
The First Five Pages by Noah Lukeman, about flaws that editors and agents look for in manuscripts. This should be of interest to at least some Orblers.
So, for all the prolific readers, here is a few more. Comments?

As I sit here talking to myself I find it profitable [but not financial ] to fill my orble "budget" fruitfully,
I gather you've been busy or strung out. [ the second a distinct possibility ]
Some things in life make me very angry as you can imagine.
Keep up with all your good work.
