Does personal attachment to a subject promote learning?

It rather follows, doesn't it? even without research, that learning about something you are really interested in makes it easier than learning about things in which you do not demonstrate any particular attachment to, or interest in.

This is why people are encouraged to do something they feel really passionate about, although I suspect attachment to money and a passion for it, does serve a small minority, known as the filthy rich, particularly well.

But, back to basics for the rest of us.

The 2008 John S. Diekhoff Winners, Heath Demaree, associate professor of psychology, and Athena Vrettos, associate professor and director of graduate studies in English—believe in creating emotional connections between their students and the subjects they teach.

Well, I guess some things are easier said than done, I'd like to see the person who could encourage any sort of attachment between myself and sport, not much chance of that.

Of course, I rather like the idea of money, but not such that all of my passion goes into it, in fact, very little of my attachment is to money.

I just like using my brain and thinking a lot ( not to be reflected in my blogging) although I would like to encourage others to stretch themselves more in this way, but then again, that's another story, sooner or later I shall give all this ridiculous blogging up, believe me.

But it is good to learn and sometimes that can happen by accident so there are not too many on whom I would give up.

But that brain of ours does learn, in spite of ourselves, so just hang in there, open your eyes and ears and you may just discover a whole new world opening up.

Original enough content for you and adcents today is it?

Some people never learn.

Rest assured Raven, no-one wants an original thought. Too difficult for them.
