Well, the link below takes us to a site which discusses the naive blogger in some depth.
Feeling I may well fall into this category I decided to turn this into a little test and see how I rate.
It is something you may want to do too.
1. Are you Infatuated with Stats. Well, err, well umm, well err, yes really. Fail
2. Do you yearn for Comments. No, I certainly don't yearn for comments. Emphasis here is on the word yearn . Pass.
Well, of course, it's just as well they used the word yearn, I certainly invite comments and to be quite honest I don't really have much of a fan club.
I guess I may be able to pass a few more tests, purely on the basis of semantics.
3. Do you Have a Back Bone. High Distinction, of course I have a backbone, we all do. Funny question, wonder if it's from anatomy?
4. Are you are Blinded by Money Prospects. Yes, Yes, Yes, Distinction. Show me, show me, show me.
5. Do you Think You Will be Famous. Credit. Certainly I do, it's just a matter of when you see.
6. Do you Think You Can Actually Make a Difference. Credit. Of course I can, I just don't know when.
7. Do you Think You Can Make People Change. No [small voice] Pass conceded reluctantly, this student is not being particularly honest.
8. Do you Blame Others for Your Blog Problems. Oh, yes, indeed I do. Fail. Fail? who me? what a silly question.
9. Do you Rely on the Latest Blog Fad? Well hardly, no, I'm still trying to find out just what the latest fad is. Fail. Cheating. Who me?
10. Do you step on others to get ahead without realizing the political consequences. Hell no, I step on others just for the sheer sake of it. Fail. What again?
It seems I can be classified as a naive blogger. But for a more complete explanation do use the link provided.
My comments on my exam paper were that I did show a degree of promise for the future but I may find another course would suit me better.
