A rainbow over the horizon transfixes an Alaskan fisherman hunting in Norton Sound, Alaska, part of the mouth of the Yukon River. The 2,000-mile-long (3,200-kilometer-long) river empties into a delta bigger than Texas that teems with wildlife including crab, seal, and salmon.

either my next cruise or the one after taht will be to Alaska. i've wanted to take a cruise there and see the glaciers forever, but everytime we take a cruise i pick mexico, jamaica, belize, bahhamas or somewhere else "Warm" and exotic. <smiles>
one day though. i'm going to see Alaska.

Flashes of memories

Ah when I was working in England I nearly ran off with him to Alaska to pack fish... bit of a smelly job but good money and definitely a beautiful part of the world to be in that`s for sure. It needs to be preserved yes! I would love to go there during the seal pupping months - I reckon that would be quite a sight.

katyzzz......don't think I'll wait for Google to pay, I am of the opinion that there are just too many bloggers and we'll only have a chance of any money when they start really selling things. BIG TIME!
